The Building Project
Why is Tommy’s Home extraordinary?
Promoting self-efficacy while keeping mothers and children together
Imagine being told you have to choose between keeping your family together and getting the help you need to get clean. - This is the reality for many women impacted by sexual exploitation and addiction. - If they seek help, they have to give up their children to foster care. This separation wounds the family even more, and jeopardizes their long-term recovery. Keeping the families together leads to better outcomes. - As they rebuild their lives together, they strengthen one another; renewing hope and joy; seizing control of their lives. At Tommy’s Home, families are equipped to apply their talents and passions to create economic stability - through education, or job training, or help in creating their own business model. - Their personal renewal, in turn, has the power to transform the wider community. With your donations, Tommy's Home will affect generations to come in communities plagued by poverty and hopelessness. You have the power to change the legacy of future generations through putting love into action.
The ones who have been made right with God will move onward and forward; and those with pure hearts shall become stronger and stronger.
